And Soon It Will be History: CK'S The View Revolving Rooftop - Nice To Know You!
A Tampa Icon for over 40 years will soon (June 2013) be closing it's doors to progress. The rooftop restaurant will cease to exist in June and will be converted to a catering/event only venue. It will be a sad day in Tampa!
So with the news of the closing I decided to go and pay my respects to an old Tampa friend:
The control tower looking North. Eventually this area will give way to a new terminal and the Hilton Hotel will eventually need to be relocated to the economy parking area.
The bar scene.
The menu, soon to be no more.
Beyond the aircraft hanger is Downtown Tampa in the distant center of the photo.
