1-28-12: Gasparilla - A Tampa Tradition
Every year, toward the end of January the city of Tampa and its citizens start to prepare for the long time Tampa tradition of Gasparilla. It's when the Mayor of Tampa reluctantly surrenders our beloved city to the marauding pirates and hence the week after the unfortunate but fun filled invasion begins and the invaders descend upon our city .
