RIP My Sweet Tender Cali

RIP my darling Cali ("Cali Bear, Moosie"- April 13, 2022 you crossed the rainbow bridge

Your First Day at your forever home Cali

Full of curiosity and such a rich beautiful coat.

She was a gentle soul. Never hissed or tried to bite. She had several nick names (Cali bear, moosie, moose) she was a robust cat and at her heyday weight came in at 16ibs

Her sister Penny - they never really bonded - Penny just seemed to tolerate Cali. We never knew how much that held Cali back from expressing her true self - When Penny passed in 2020 Cali blossomed into her real personality and it was great. Unfortunately, she was really only able to enjoy a short time but it was fantastic.

One of my favorite photos - well they are all my favorite. She never took a bad photo.

Poor Cali always had food insecurities. Tot he point that we had to use an electric feeder. She always new when it got close to the food drop time.

Cali was always a gentle spirit and often would give a encouraging paw.

Cali's color pattern was gorgeous.

Always willing to consul.

Such a pretty cat and gentle soul - she is missed dearly.

She loved to work outside with her mom and just chil..

Cali loved spending time with her mom!

Not a day goes by (even years later) that I do not think about and miss my sweet precious patient girl...

I knew these were our last days together, it was so difficult knowing the end was nearing...

She loved basking in the sun. That was Cali's last day enjoying life. I don't think she was ready to go - She was such a fighter but the cancer was too much...
